We invite you to join us for our annual Grounded Gathering in 2018 at a very special site located in Bundjalung Country, near Tylagum, only 1 hrs drive from Gold Coast and Byron Bay.

Our annual Gathering is split in to two parts; a five day, hands-on, workshop program for a small group of participants ready to invest in their future through project based education, and then as the weekend rolls in, we open up the space to celebrate with some people powered permaculture action party.

    SUNDAY APRIL 29th 2:30pm - 4:30pm A special event is coming to Flutterbies Cafe in Tyalgum: The Lyrebird Trio is comprised of Australian musicians Glenn Christensen (violin), Simon Cobcroft (cello) and Angela Turner (piano), all distinguished graduates of the Queensland Conservatorium. The Trio was formed in 2013 and they regularly perform right across Australia with featured concerts at Melbourne Recital Hall, Sydney Opera House among others, they have had recordings and broadcasts on ABC Classic FM, and MBS networks. Outside of the trio, Glenn Christensen is a member of the Australian Chamber Orchestra; Simon Cobcroft is Principal Cello with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, and Angela Turner is a lecturer at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. For the Flutterbies concert they will be performing the spirited Haydn Gypsy trio, as well as works by Kopetz and Mendelssohn as well as an original work called 'Of The Sea, The Moon and of You'. The concert is $50 per person and includes a Champagne Gold cocktail on arrival. Book for lunch before the concert. Cocktail and Dessert menu available at interval.
