Hearts Aflame is proud to be be bringing classical pianist Ayesha Gough back to the Tweed for a special one-off concert appearance at Tyalgum’s Flutterbies Cottage Cafe. She will perform a selection of the great piano classics including works from Liszt, Prokofiev and more! A graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, First Prize winner of the 2015 Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, Ayesha has performed with Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Conservatorium Orchestra among many others. Presently she is continuing study in Italy at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale “Incontri col Maestro”. Winner of a swag of awards including the Variety Club Children’s Charity of which she is an International Ambassador. This July concert will be Ayesha’s 4th appearance at Flutterbies in Tyalgum. Ayesha will be joined by Brisbane based Mezzo Soprano Xenia Puskarz Thomas for a selection of Operatic Arias and popular songs. Named by the Courier Mail as one of ‘Queensland’s 50 Best and Brightest’, Xenia is quickly making a name for herself in Opera. Many of you would recall Xenia’s fabulous concert at Flutterbies last year. Since then, Some of Xenia’s other recent engagements include performing with The Camerata of St John’s in their Helpmann nominated “Home” concert and with them again in the 2017 Tyalgum Music Festival. She was also a representative of Australia in the 3rd International Australian Chinese Film Festival Concert held in Wuhan, China. Saturday 7th July
